If you are struggling with debt, or are looking for free impartial money advice, Step Change Debt Charity have a quick and easy online service which will provide information and assistance within 20 minutes. 

You can also find your local Citizens Advice Bureau here, which will be able to provide you with a face to face service to help you get a handle on your finances.



At Scotcash we believe in providing our customers with the best level of service and advice possible, which is why we offer a money advice service in our Glasgow branch. The service from Glasgow Central CAB is available to all our customers and can be used for:

  • Problems with household bills, such as rent, gas, electricity, phone, etc.
  • Help with dealing with debts on which you have fallen into arrears.
  • A quick benefits check to ensure you are claiming everything you are entitled to.
  • Help with benefit problems.
  • Assistance with budgeting issues.
  • Plus any other issues which you feel impact on your financial stability.

Our money advisers are independent and provide a completely confidential service. Customers who are opening bank accounts for the first time can also talk to one of our advisers about how best to manage their bank account in order to avoid bank charges.
