Scotcash is delighted to announce that we will be working in partnership with Virgin Money in Glasgow, helping to provide basic bank accounts to anyone even if you have faced financial difficulty in the past. (Terms and Conditions apply)

Our market-leading basic bank account, the Virgin Money Essential Current Account, will be available to Scotcash clients via appointments with a Virgin Money representative in the Scotcash branch on High Street, to make these accounts even more accessible to the people they are designed to help the most.

Stephen Pearson (Senior Adviser) of Virgin Money, said:

A vital part of our ambition to make everyone better off is to use our expertise to do some good in the world. This new partnership with Scotcash brings together two businesses with a shared passion to tackle financial inclusion and make a positive difference for families in Glasgow, by providing access to better banking through our free Essential Current Account.

Sharon MacPherson, of Scotcash, said:

Scotcash and Virgin Money share the objective of changing communities for the better.  Bank accounts are fundamental to financial inclusion.  They are a way of managing money securely, a gateway to other financial services, a means of paying bills and a way of getting cheaper goods and services. Our partnership illustrates how by working collaboratively to promote access to financial services, we can make everyone better off.
